This training helps teachers to actualize iTutor’s mission to revolutionize education by providing high-quality instruction to students nationwide regardless of their station at birth by equipping them with the tools to meet the academic and personal growth and developmental needs of every child. Students’ First focuses on four key areas: social-emotional learning, trauma-informed instruction, culturally responsive teaching, and the use of vernacular to foster student identity and is designed for the remote Educator eager to intensify their intellectual and social impact.
- Assessing the social-emotional strategies I need to incorporate in my instruction.
- Evaluating the trauma-informed instruction I already use in my classroom.
- Selecting culturally responsive activities to embedded in my curriculum & instructional repertoire.
- Updating my vernacular to foster student identify in the 21st century.
